Information we collect
When you register we collect your name, contact details, date of birth, gender, address, local government area, family house, qualifications, work history, skills and the documents you upload (photograph, CV, certificates and identification). Employers provide company details and vacancy information.
How we use your information
Your data is used to verify eligibility, match you to advertised vacancies, share shortlisted applications with the relevant employer, invite you to interviews and training, and produce anonymous statistics on employment in Bonny Kingdom.
Who can see your data
Your full profile is visible to you, to Bureau administrators, and to an employer only after you apply to that employer's vacancy. Uploaded documents are held in private storage and are never publicly accessible.
How we protect it
All traffic is served over SSL/TLS. Access to records is enforced at the database level by row-level security policies, passwords are hashed by our authentication provider, email addresses are verified at signup, and accounts may be secured with two-factor authentication.
Retention
Applicant records are retained while your account is active and for up to twenty-four months after your last activity, so that you can be considered for future vacancies. You may request earlier deletion at any time.
Your rights
You may access, correct, export or delete your data, withdraw an application, or object to how your data is used. Requests are handled by the Secretariat within thirty days.
Cookies
We use only the cookies required to keep you signed in and to remember your cookie preference. We do not run advertising trackers.
