About us
Serving Bonny Kingdom's workforce since 1993
The Bonny Kingdom Employment Bureau (BKEB) was established in 1993 to liaise with companies, government agencies and organisations to facilitate employment opportunities for qualified Bonny Kingdom indigenes.
Our mission
To bridge the gap between qualified Bonny Kingdom indigenes and employers by providing transparent, fair and efficient employment services while promoting local content and sustainable community development.
Our vision
To become the leading employment and workforce development agency that empowers Bonny Kingdom residents with meaningful career opportunities.
Our objectives
Six commitments that guide our work
Every service the Bureau offers — from registration to placement and training — is measured against these objectives.
- 01
Connect qualified indigenes
Match verified Bonny Kingdom professionals and artisans with employers actively recruiting.
- 02
Support local content
Work with operators and contractors to meet and exceed Nigerian local content commitments.
- 03
Build a skilled workforce
Deliver training, apprenticeship and certification pathways that meet industry standards.
- 04
Promote equal opportunity
Ensure every applicant is assessed on merit, without discrimination or informal influence.
- 05
Maintain transparency
Publish every vacancy openly and record every application on a single auditable database.
- 06
Partner widely
Collaborate with government agencies, private organisations and community institutions.
How it works
From registration to placement
- 1
Register and complete your profile
Create an account, provide your personal, educational and professional details and upload your CV, certificates and identification.
- 2
Verification
The Bureau reviews submitted credentials and confirms indigene or residency status through the family house records.
- 3
Matching and shortlisting
When an employer posts a vacancy, applications are ranked on qualification, experience and skills — never on personal influence.
- 4
Interview and placement
Invitations are issued through the portal. Successful candidates are placed and the Bureau tracks the outcome for reporting.
